Mazen was awarded a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree at Birmingham City University and used this to follow a path working for varying companies within a business and telecommunications field.
In 2008, Mazen felt a yearning to pursue a more creative career path within the realms of garden design and so enrolled at Sparsholt College, Winchester, where he was awareded a FdSc (1st) in Garden Design.
Having completed the course, Mazen was enthusiastic to develop his skills within private practice and so was very pleased when he was offered a junior design position at Janine Pattison Studios. Between 2011 and 2015, Mazen worked his way through the ranks and became a Senior Designer for the company, where he was responsible for managing some of the large scale projects, working with clients and consultant teams, including: architects, interior designers, engineers, surveyors, etc. He was involved in developing designs for care homes; educational facilities, planning consultants, Local Planning Authorities and private clients' of high net worth.
Wanting to develop his skill base further, he went to work for Influence as Senior Designer, where he gained skills undertaking Landscape Visual Impact Assessments, Landscape Strategy and further design work for the commercial sector.
However, he soon realised his real passion lay in working with private individual clients and so joined Taylor Tripp early 2016. He has quickly become an established member of the team.
